Everything on our menu we make ourselves and as much of it is as locally sourced and seasonal as possible.
Parts of our menu change daily according to what produce we have available.
We buy whole sheep, beef and pork and butcher them down along with enouraging our locals to barter excess fruit, veg, fish and game.
We hope you enjoy the experience.

At lunchtimes we also offer sandwiches and ploughmans.
Sunday lunches always include two roasts and we serve lunch on Sunday's until 3pm.

If you can't be bothered to cook, but don't want to drive into Dorchester or Sherborne we offer a takeaway service everyday for fish & chips and burger & chips.
Telephone in advance or pop in for a pint and wait for them to be cooked and wrapped up in newspaper.
